I took the sixth and seventh graders to see the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra today. The sixth grade is studying Europe right now and seventh is studying Africa. Our "Arabic for Newcomers" MS class is on page 76 of Atlanta magazine right now. They've got a couple paragraphs about us buried in their annual charter school report. Last year it was a sentence and no picture.

I've felt like I'm on the verge of hysteria every day at work the last two weeks. Yes, I'm teaching a brand new subject in a high performance environment.
